So, Feature & Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee and AlisonCanRead. It's where you answer the weekly question and then link yourself and you
Q: Back to school. Create a reading list for the imaginary English Lit class you’ll be teaching this semester.
A: I think that I would probably be teaching a third or fourth grade English class! :) As you can see I'd have a really hard time choosing!!! But those are some of the books that have stood the longest test of time for me. I would love to share them with children, who would love them as much as me (hopefully).
I can't wait to see your imaginary syllabi (yes, I am a nerd! LOL) and I hope you have a great Friday! Thanks so much for stopping by! :) I do prefer Bloglovin' follows, but am also trying to build up my Facebook and Twitter followings (especially my Facebook page). All the links are on the right sidebar! <3
Oh noo...I felt so guilty about this post. Narnia is still buried under my TBR pile.
ReplyDeleteNeed to read it soon

I haven't read many of these so it looks like I may have to take your class! I do love Narnia though, such a magical story that can spark kid's imaginations! :)

Those are some pretty awesome books, although might be more for MG than YA. I haven't even heard of THE MOUSE AND THE MOTORCYCLE in possibly 15 years. Yikes, I'm old.

Love your picks - especially Bridge to Terabithia and The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. I agree that Terabithia the book is really sad, but I think it's pretty important for kids to know that other kids have to live through that sometimes. Thank you so much for stopping by my FF.
