So, Follow my Blog Friday is a meme hosted by Parajunkee and AlisonCanRead. It's where you answer the weekly question and then link yourself and you go and check out other blogs of your interest.
Q: The New Year is here — and everyone wants to know your New Years Blogging Resolution! What are you going to try to revise, revamp and redo for 2012 on your blog?
A: I want to build up my following for sure. I've gotten a good start this year, but I want to share books with as many people as possible. Also, I need to start being more proactive about getting ARCs from publishers. Ebooks have been abundant, but I haven't tried for ARCs yet, because I still have a pretty small following. I need to learn more about HTML coding and tricking out my blog (Widgets scare the beejeezus out of me!). Lastly, I want to be more involved in the blogging community as a whole. Which once I finish school this summer will hopefully be possible! :)
Sounds like a well thought out plan. I'm much the same! Thanks for the follow on my blog, I just thought I'd pop over and return the favour!
ReplyDeleteHopping through. I need to be better about requesting ARCs. I have a lot of followers but I'm still nervous. Just asking is most important I think.

Great resolutions! HTML can be tricky at first, but once you've got it, well, you've got it! I used to be so scared of messing up my blog design haha! And I agree about being more involved with the blogging community - I seriously need to interact with my followers more :) Thanks for stopping by!

Great resolutions! :) Just play around with widgets a lot and you'll get the hang of it. It's really not as scary as it seems!

Ah, HTML is the bane of my blogging existence as well. But you'll pretty much get the hang of it, if you start to explore. :) Already a follower. Happy New Year. :)
ReplyDeleteCome stop by my Friday Hop. :D!
Great resolutions. I think that as you become more vocal in the blogging community the followers will come! Visit the blogs you follow often and comment, comment, comment! It like starting up a converstion in line at the grocery store and finding your new best friend - if you hadn't said hello in the first place, you never would have found them! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for visiting me at Hands and Home, I am now following you back and look forward to reading more from you! <3
Have a Happy New Year! New follower, please return the favour :)

ReplyDeleteAwesome plan!!! Since you're ahead of me by a few months I'll have to check back and see how you did on the ARCs thing! I'm chicken to even look at NetGalley. And your widgets look great!
